Senior Assessment Information
To qualify for the Higher School Certificate students must satisfactorily complete a Preliminary Pattern of study comprising at least 12 units and an HSC pattern of study comprising at least 10 units.
Both patterns must include:
- at least six units from Board Developed courses;
- at least two units of a Board Developed course in English;
- at least three courses of two units value or greater (either Board Developed or Board Endorsed courses)
- at least four subjects.

Year 12 Assessment Policy

School Certificate Assessment Year 10
School Certificates will be awarded to students who have successfully completed four years of secondary schooling.
To be eligible for the award of the School Certificate, students are required to:
- follow and satisfactorily complete a pattern of courses required by the Board of Studies,
- apply themselves with diligence and sustained effort to their studies,
- and sit for and make a serious attempt at the School Certificate Tests in English - Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship and Computing Skills.
